Guide to Copenhagen Christmas Markets 2024
In Copenhagen, there are several different Christmas markets that can be combined with Christmas shopping in Copenhagen’s festive city center. For example, you can visit the Christmas market at Tivoli and then go to Royal Copenhagen on Strøget, where every Christmas, selected famous Danes have the tradition of setting their own Christmas table with porcelain and decorations.
The major department stores, Illum and Magasin, are also impressive with all their Christmas decorations, and all other shops, cafes, etc., do their best to create a Christmas atmosphere. Don’t miss the impressive Christmas decoration at Hotel D’Angleterre near Kongens Nytorv.
